Hidden Mold

Visible and/or Invisible Mold?

When you see mold, you know you have a problem.  But what if it is invisible?

Most mold growth won't be visible and very often will be completely hidden from view.  That's because it doesn't thrive in, or like light.

In Dallas and Lewisville year-round humidity is on average 78%. Mold can grow with 60% humidity and no other water source.

This means, if you have never checked the indoor air quality of your home or other location, you very likely have mold growth.

Common Molds in Dallas & Duval Counties

There are more than 100,000 types of mold, Fortunately only 12 are commonly seen in Duval and Dallas county homes and businesses. All of these molds can be harmful, and fall into three categories.

  • Allergenic molds: Experiencing symptoms commonly associated with allergies: itching, sneezing, runny nose, and or exacerbated asthma? And it won't go away. Mold could be the culprit.
  • Toxigenic molds: In a situation where you are deathly ill, and doctors can't figure out why? You may have a mold that produces mycotoxins substances that can lead to dangerous or even deadly health conditions.

Schedule a Mold Inspection Today!

By first defining and understanding the air quality in your building, you can make an educated decision about how to proceed. An air test may not be necessary. Especially if a visual inspection is sufficient. In some cases a testing may be an unecessary additional expense.

If you are unsure, for $199 we will take one air sample from inside and one from outside your building ($50 for each additional sample) for analysis by a 3rd party lab. We will then give you results and discuss the best course of action.
